Spring is well underway, and those hefty winter clothes are finally all packed up! Designers have debuted their newest seasonal lines, and here are a few popular trends to perk up your scrub closet:
Orange/Tangerine – These intense hues are the top colors of the season. Make a statement with Landau’s Empire Mock Wrap Top in Cajon Spice, currently on sale for only $10!
Color Blocking– Pairing bright, solid colors together can create a chic look. The Cherokee Raglan Scrub Top is stylish choice for the workplace with its color-blocked sleeves and trim. Also, pastel colors are an alternative if you want a softer look.
Floral prints – Always a staple for the springtime, mock wrap tops like this one from Dickies Generation Flex line are perfect for warm weather.
Our End of the Month Clearance Event is currently going on now, with scrubs up to 80% off! Expand this season’s wardrobe while saving money. Happy Spring!
Show your heart some love during February’s American Heart Month! Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the United States for both men and women, with 600,000 deaths per year. Since it affects so many individuals, it’s important to spread the word on how you can help fight this disease. A healthy diet and exercise go a long way to ensure a strong body and heart. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies, avoiding foods high in cholesterol and trans fat. Make sure to also get plenty of rest as well—these preventative measures could save you from future cardiovascular problems including high blood pressure and stroke. Wearing red this month is another great way to show your support. Take a pick from one of the many red tops in our store—the White Swan V-Neck is only $6.99 in the clearance section, and our 3-Pocket Scrub Top is currently $8.98!
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, so celebrate it with some sweet treats and new scrubs! One of my favorite designs is the sleek contrasting heart pattern on Baby Phat’s Scoop Neck Top. The fisheye darts on the back create a flattering silhouette shape as well. I’m also partial to the adorable “Owl Always Love You” print, available for the Scrub H.Q. Round Neck Top. Pair it with some pink pants and you’ll be ready to go! For a more traditional Valentine’s Day option, I’d recommend Adar’s Baby Doll Ruffle Top—it’s a festive mix of white, red, and pink.
If you’re still searching for that special gift for a medical professional, take a look at our Valentine’s Day Gift Guide. We have plenty of great products to make a loved one’s holiday extra special!
Crocs not only makes your favorite shoes, but they have a line of scrubs too! We are excited to add Crocs Medical Apparel to the family of products we carry. The brand prides itself on scrubs that are both functional and comfortable for all-day wear. Their medical apparel even uses a special stretchy “Croc-flex” fabric to create a soft, flattering fit.
The line also features bold colors–it’s the perfect opportunity to brighten your ensemble. I would check out their Vickie V-neck Top. It’s a quality top, professional for the workplace. You can pick from a variety of shades including a rich, geranium red and a vibrant kiwi. Plus, all their shirts have an extra “Croc pocket” to help hold your gear.
They also carry print tops too if you’re looking to switch up monochromatic outfits. The Button Placket Scrub Top is a great choice, with several print options available. The contrasting solid trim on the pockets adds a stylish touch as well. Take a look at all Crocs Medical Apparel has to offer here. Pre-order now and your order will ship after January 15th!
It’s official–Winter fashions have finally arrived! If you’re keen on switching up your look, here are a few ideas that you can easily incorporate into your everyday wardrobe:
Soft colors are filling the runways this season. You don’t have to stick with bland browns or grays though! Subdued shades of lavender, sandstone, burgundy and pink are popular choices. In our Clearance Section we have a Snap Front Top available in Orchid that’s the perfect mix of subtle and chic.
Animal prints are extremely popular this season too. Add a little spice with this Wild Kingdom Keyhole Neck Top. It’s not only comfortable, but the bold design is eye-catching as well.
Sweaters never seem to go out of style during the winters. Try layering a scrub top with something like the Cherokee Workwear V-Neck Cardigan for extra warmth. It’s available in tons of colors, and on sale for only $14.38 in our store.
Bright accessories will give your outfit a nice “pop”. Even a small accessory like a watch can lighten up your wardrobe. Scrub Stuff makes a fun, Ciel-colored Jelly Watch that can be paired with your clothing. But don’t forget about your feet! I’d suggest heating up with the Baby Blue Fleece Shoe by Dawgs.
Mix and match pieces to create new outfits with only a few items. It’s a great way to save money this season too. Happy holidays!
Look good and feel even better in our newest collection from Scrub Works! What I really like about this brand is that they’ve created a few tops in support of charitable organizations. They have a Mock Wrap Top and V-Neck Top with a colorful puzzle piece design, encouraged to raise Autism awareness. Did you know there are about 1.5 million Americans living with a form of Autism? I was shocked by how prevalent it is! With every purchase of these tops, Scrub Works donates a portion of the proceeds to the Autism Society of America. The ASA is extremely dedicated to helping those affected by the disease.
Scrub Works also supports the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which focuses on advancing the treatment and prevention of catastrophic diseases in children. Their St. Jude V-Neck features cartoon hippo and mouse prints, inspired by designs from patients of the hospital. A donation to St. Jude’s is made with every purchase of this shirt too. Each top is under $19, and now you can make a difference just with your scrubs! Check out all Scrub Works has to offer by visiting here.
Now introducing…Mary Engelbreit (ME) scrubs! With a fondness for old-fashioned cartoons and floral patterns, Mary’s designs have a warm, welcoming feel. I found her background to be really intriguing—she got her start working in an art supply store and eventually became a greeting card illustrator in a tiny ad agency. Soon enough, her sketches were widely recognizable, expanding into books, posters, mugs, and of course now clothing. Her pictures are inspired by childhood and lifetime experiences, often infusing fun words and phrases with images. One popular scrub shirt is based on her “Life Is Just a Chair of Bowlies” drawing—the Cherry Print V-Neck Top. I’d suggest pairing it with the ME Red Flare Leg Pant or Black Boot Cut Pant to create a delicious matching set! See more of what the “Queen of Cute” has to offer by clicking here to browse our entire Mary Engelbreit collection. Happy shopping!
