New Fashions Are “Spring-ing” Up

Spring is well underway, and those hefty winter clothes are finally all packed up! Designers have debuted their newest seasonal lines, and here are a few popular trends to perk up your scrub closet:

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with allheart!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, so celebrate it with some sweet treats and new scrubs! One of my favorite designs is the sleek contrasting heart pattern on Baby Phat’s Scoop Neck Top.  The fisheye darts on the back create a flattering silhouette shape as well.  I’m also partial to the adorable “Owl Always Love You” print, available for the Scrub H.Q. Round Neck Top.  Pair it with some pink pants and you’ll be ready to go!  For a more traditional Valentine’s Day option, I’d recommend Adar’s Baby Doll Ruffle Top—it’s a festive mix of white, red, and pink.

Look Good, Feel Great in Scrub Works

Look good and feel even better in our newest collection from Scrub Works! What I really like about this brand is that they’ve created a few tops in support of charitable organizations. They have a Mock Wrap Top and V-Neck Top with a colorful puzzle piece design, encouraged to raise Autism awareness. Did you know there are about 1.5 million Americans living with a form of Autism? I was shocked by how prevalent it is! With every purchase of these tops, Scrub Works donates a portion of the proceeds to the Autism Society of America. The ASA is extremely dedicated to helping those affected by the disease.

Scrub Works also supports the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which focuses on advancing the treatment and prevention of catastrophic diseases in children. Mary Engelbreit Scrubs!

Now introducing…Mary Engelbreit (ME) scrubs!  With a fondness for old-fashioned cartoons and floral patterns, Mary’s designs have a warm, welcoming feel.  I found her background to be really intriguing—she got her start working in an art supply store and eventually became a greeting card illustrator in a tiny ad agency.  Soon enough, her sketches were widely recognizable, expanding into books, posters, mugs, and of course now clothing.  Her pictures are inspired by childhood and lifetime experiences, often infusing fun words and phrases with images.  One popular scrub shirt is based on her “Life Is Just a Chair of Bowlies” drawing—the Cherry Print V-Neck Top.  I’d suggest pairing it with the ME Red Flare Leg Pant  or Black Boot Cut Pant to create a delicious matching set!  See more of what the “Queen of Cute” has to offer by clicking here to browse our entire Mary Engelbreit collection.  Happy shopping!
